Pins and Needles is a ‘power trio’ playing classic rock from the 70's up to today. The members of the group have a combined 75 years of experience entertaining as professional musicians. Together they have been playing as Pins and Needles since 2003 in the Philly Metro, South Jersey, and Jersey Shore areas. The group has an uncanny knack for capturing the essence of the songs they cover while lending a bit of there own style. The result is always a crowd pleaser and is always sure to bring back those classic rock feelings that make us all want to sing along. Rock’s first forty years has taken us across many bands and styles, but the ‘classic rock’ core has endured the years. Tapping into this core, Pins and Needles’ takes us from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s all the way up to today. The full sound that comes from the trio in part can be in part attributed to vocal ability of all three members. The addition of two part backup harmonies on most songs give a rich sound making the band sound like more than just three musicians. Their extensive repertoire also allows their set lists to be tailored to the venue. Sets can be softened for smaller restaurant/bar settings or rocked-out based on the setting or the audience mood. A four member configuration with an additional guitarist or a two member configuration with a drum machine replacing the drummer is also available.
